Daily Rituals
(a) Rahmat er Faez

The last (3rd) part of the night (from 2 am to 5 am), birth time of our Holy Prophet selected by Allah, is known as the time of ‘Rahmat-er-Faez’. It is believed that day and night appealed to Allah for the birth of the Prophet, but Allah chose the Subhe Sadik, which is beginning of the day and end of the night., this time is called Rahmater time. This part of 24-hour of day and night is very important for the Sufis, as they choose this time to seek refuge in Allah’s mercy through their wasila (media) Spiritual Director (Pir) and Prophet Muhammad, s.a.w.s

Every night (from 2 am till 5 am) the Zakers are required to plead to Allah through the Pir or Tawassul for God’s compassion and forgiveness for themselves and for the whole world. The Zakers appeal to Allah in crying voice and shedding tears for their committed unseen and unknown wrongs and sins with the words – Ya Allahu, Ya Rahmanu, Ya Rahim, Ya Ramatallil Alamin, Ya Shafial Muznebin. This is the best wazîfa opined by Khwaja Enayetpuri, for without taqwa (fear and love for Allah) no one can acquire Allah’s mercy.

Hazrat Mawlana Jalauddin Rumi referred to the Prophet as counseling Hazrat 'Ali to follow the direction of the Pir or Spiritual Guide:

O 'Ali, out of all forms of religious service
Choose thou the shadow of that dear friend of God!
Every man takes refuge in some form of service,
And chooses for himself some asylum;
Do thou seek refuge in the shadow of the wise man,
That thou mayest escape thy fierce secret foes.
